Many homes built between 1950 to 1970 have a similar wall between the kitchen and dining room. A single doorway separates the two rooms without a door in the opening. Opening up the wall between rooms is a task best left to experienced wall removal contractors.
This Kitchen has an “Eat-In” area for a small table where you can sit inside the kitchen and have coffee or tea, eat a nice lunch or have a yummy dinner. We plan a beautiful new kitchen for this homeowner where these meals are still eaten “inside” the same space, the Dining Room.
Relocating the refrigerator on the opposite side of the room next to the laundry allows us to keep the deeper appliances next to each other. The fridge conceals the washer and dryer and folding counter top.
